Notes: This show is part of the three-show Festival 8. Stash contained an L.A. Woman tease. During "I Didnt Know", Trey announced that Henrietta would, for the first time in human history, suck and blow at the same time, in the shape of a figure 8. During Bowie, Trey said, "Here's a hint for the Halloween album."

Setlist: Jam, Undermind > Devil With a Blue Dress Jam, Starship Trooper Jam, Gone, Liquid Time

It's simply amazing how fast this stuff is getting circulated these days. The band sounds relaxed, rehearsed, excited, and inspired. The opening jam segment is already ranked on the top shelf as far as improv goes in 09. Page is out front and confident, his playing lays a hand towards the Rolling Stones. Again Page takes control on the Starship Trooper Jam, some incredibly psychedelic engaging music here. Leaving me left with only the "what if ?" feeling. Gone and Liquid Time both sound great with plenty of potential, with Liquid Time teasing some improv potential.
