TellurideDailyPlanet: Local Phish tickets still on sale

Thought you missed your chance to see Phish if you didn’t camp out in line for local tickets the beginning of April?

Think again.

Telluride Music Company still has local tickets for both nights on sale. The music store shut its doors April 5 for the off-season and has been spreading the word since reopening Monday morning.

As of 5:30 p.m. Tuesday night, there were 76 tickets for Monday Aug. 9, and 88 tickets for Tuesday Aug. 10. Owners David and Karen Lamb want to get rid of them.

“The word is kind of getting out. We’d like for this to be over,” Karen said.

Many people assumed tickets sold out within days — perhaps due to the overnight ticket line that snaked around the adjacent park or the music store being shuttered for nearly a month
