Video: Mike Gordon Band "Idea" 9.5.2010 Gelston Castle ~ Mohawk, NY

The Mike Gordon Band performs "Idea" at moe.down XI over labor day weekend. First performed with Phish on June 15th 2010 and not played since. If Trey and The Phish ignore the opportunity to play it during the upcoming fall tour, I'm sure Mike's band will unleash it in when they hit the road for his extended tour in November. - Justin

Winnipeg Free Press: Phish frontman Trey Anastasio shines on live disc with solo band

"TAB at the TAB" captures Anastasio live with three original members of the Trey Anastasio Band and a new horn section. Again, like Garcia, Anastasio's solo efforts have a sound familiar to Phish — he is the group's lead singer and guitarist, after all — but the addition of horns and two female vocalists, including 18-year-old Natalie Cressman on her first national tour, provide new layers of sound.

Mr: Miner: "Miner's Picks" Leg II

After some weeks away from tour and plenty of time to listen to August through and through, it has come time to unveil “Miner’s Pick’s” for Leg II of Summer 2010. In a tour with many eye-popping jams, many fans could have compiled a similar list. However, I allowed myself only one version of each song, leaving several legitimate highlights absent from this compilation. What you will find inside is an aural trek down memory lane of Phish’s most accomplished tour this era. With tracks assembled to create a natural flow over the the six and a half hour highlight reel, download “Miner’s Pick’s: Leg II,” kick back with loud volume, and enjoy an afternoon of the best Phish jams we’ve heard since their return.

Mr. Miner weighs in on his improvisational highlights of Phish's second leg tour. Visit Mr. Miner's Phish Thoughts for his complete breakdown and analysis featuring audio treats.
