Umphrey's McGee Announces Fall Stew-Art event

The improg Chicago-based sextet Umphrey's McGee has announced the first of four Fall Tour S2 events at Minglewood Hall in Memphis, TN on September 24th. These outstanding events provide the attendee a truly unique and fresh perspective on sound-check. A S2 event gives the ticket purchaser the opportunity to conduct the band in whatever direction they feel is necessary. While also creating a spontaneous improvisational energy based off text messages from those in attendance. When it comes to delivering their fans a memorable experience, Umphreys's McGee is a step ahead of their peers. Just take a few minutes and check out their official blog "The Floor" where they offer an inside look at the life of a national touring act.

Online Phish Tour: How Will Fall Compare To Summer?

Hershey 2010 Sunset via Justin Wendt

Online Phish Tour's Raging Mob of Joggers takes a look back at Summer Tour and a look ahead towards Fall Tour as we all anxiously await the tour opener in Austin, TX.
If we look back to last year, Phish's fall tour built off of what they started at Red Rocks and carried through the end of the summer tour's second leg. Will Phish build off of this summer's second leg? Will Trey work on perfecting his new Ocedoc, continuing to provide us with cleaner playing during the jams? Will Trey continue working on his patience with the band that was noticeable in the second leg from the first? I think the answer to these questions is certainly yes.
