Daily Audio: Phish "AC/DC Bag" 9.14.99 Boise State University Pavilion ~ Boise, ID

I've decided to change my daily "Jam of the Day" posts to "Daily Audio." Mostly because the phrase "Jam of the Day" was starting to annoy me. So in celebration of this recent event, I'd like to share one of my favorite versions of "AC/DC Bag" from the second set of 9/14/1999. A transcendental serving of Idaho mashed potatoes combining the flavors of psychedelic ambiance with rhythmic gravy, with strong hints of start/stop jamming. Just another typical Tuesday night in Boise, Idaho....

Members of Phish playing benefit for Pete’s Greens

via Burlington Free Press:
This is such new info that Higher Ground doesn’t even have it on its Web site yet, but word is that Jon Fishman and Page McConnell of Phish will join several Vermont musicians for a benefit Feb. 3 at Higher Ground for Pete’s Greens, the Northeast Kingdom organic vegetable farm severely damaged by fire last month. Along with half of the members of Vermont’s most famous band, other Vermonters on the bill for the concert include Russ Lawton and Ray Paczkowski (both of whom play with Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio’s solo band), Bob Wagner, Joshua Panda, Jer Coons and a couple of guys from The Grift, Peter Day and Clint Bierman. Tickets are going on sale at 11 a.m. Friday. I’ll pass along more info when I get it.
