"It's nice to have some huge musical life experiences outside of Phish to fully realize my existence. I love Phish as much as some of the fans do. I appreciate everything that's unique about the band. But it's also a really good feeling to know that that peak musical experiences and incredible situations can come outside of Phish with different people. My goal, which seems to shift as I get older, is to keep this project going. To have something that is ongoing, and having something that I can stick to, provides me with a great opportunity to express myself and keep me feeling great. This music has really been getting me excited due to its freshness, and it's ability to keep me searching for a deeper groove. It's very special."
